Dentures & Partials
If you no longer have all your natural teeth, or very few remaining, dentures replace your missing teeth and smile. In addition to helping you eat, a denture will help support sagging facial muscles for a more youthful appearance.
With almost 20 years of experience, Dr. Mann excels at denture services for several reasons:
- Each set of dentures requires at least six appointments, ensuring a complete and thorough process.
- Each set of teeth is personally chosen and crafted by Dr. Mann to complement the patient’s facial features, mouth, and smile.
- Each patient receives a trial set to take home and evaluate.
- Each set is created by an exceptional lab using only the highest quality materials.
Types of Dentures
Full dentures replace all the teeth in a person’s mouth. Dr. Mann customizes your dentures using the most advanced materials available today so they closely resemble your natural gums and teeth. They are supported by the gums and soft tissues in the mouth and are sometimes called false teeth.
When one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw, a partial denture can be used to replace the missing teeth. Like the full denture, a partial denture is made of acrylic plastic, porcelain, and metal. The metal holds the denture in the mouth by attaching to the existing teeth. A partial denture is removable.
A regular denture rests on the gums, but an implant supported denture is secured and stabilized by dental implants that have been surgically placed into the gums and jaw bone.
What are the benefits of an All-on-4 Dentures Treatment?
Mann Family Dental offers All on 4 Dental Implants in Manchester, NH. All-on-4 is a dental implant technique involving far less time than traditional implants. Watch this 15-second video to see how All-on-4 works.
- Fewer implants
- Bone grafting is almost never required
- Only one or two days off work, if any
- One single procedure and results in one day
- Smile, speak, and eat with confidence
All-on-4 is also known as Teeth in a Day because the process can take as little as 24 hours. This is a great option for patients in need of a brand new smile, and who don’t want the inconveniences and insecurities that come with traditional dentures. All-on-4 works with just four implants in each jaw, making the procedure shorter than traditional dental implants and with faster healing times. Here’s a little bit about how it works.
How All on 4 Teeth in a Day Work
Four titanium implants are placed in the top or bottom jaw, close to the front of the mouth. The bone is the strongest in these areas. Two of the implants are also placed on a tilt allowing for more bone-to-implant contact. A fully customized bridge is then attached to these implants and secured with implant screws.
We then plan some follow-up visits for the next six months until the gums have fully healed.
