How can we help you?

Listed below are some of the questions we hear most frequently from our patients, but you may have some of your own that you don't see here. There are no small questions, and the only silly question is one that goes unasked!

Dental insurance was first introduced in California in 1954. At that time, the maximum annual coverage was $1,000. To this day, many plans still have an annual benefit of only $1,000.image of a bill for dental expenses in manchester nh

Many dentists are dropping out as insurance providers because the companies place restrictions on treatment regardless of what the doctor recommends for your oral health. At Mann Family Dental, we are an unrestricted provider for all insurances, meaning we are not in-network for any insurance company. However, we work with all insurances carriers to help you maximize your yearly benefits, and we are happy to file all of the necessary paperwork for you on your behalf.

We strive for convenience!

Our goal is to make it as convenient as possible to get the care you need without stress or worry. Generally speaking, we can give you a fairly close estimate of what kind of coverage you can expect from your insurance company. But you should know that many plans change without any warning so your benefits could be less.

Still have concerns?

If you are concerned about your insurance benefits or managing your out-of-pocket costs with convenient financing options, please call our Manchester dental office at (603) 413-2833. Our team is well-versed in handling insurance claims and can explain your benefits and answer any questions you have.

Dentistry is sometimes expensive, and insurance companies are helping less and less. Dentistry is not a commodity, and in our office, you will see the difference. There is a lot more to the image of a 3d tooth on a stack of money manchester nhcost of dentistry than just the materials we use, and we base it on several factors:

  • The expertise, clinical judgment, and education of the dentist
  • The ongoing training and education of our team
  • The state-of-the-art technology in which we invest
  • The standard of cleanliness and safety we offer
  • The compassion and understanding of a skilled team

Most importantly, you have the benefit of knowing that we will care for and treat you as a unique individual and not just another number on a chart. We are not a high-volume corporate practice so we can start our appointments on schedule and can spend all the time with you that you need and deserve.

We make comfortability a priority!

Our team knows how important it is for you to feel comfortable with us, so they will take the time to get to know you and serve you in a way that best fits your needs. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions in dentistry, and we provide personalized dental care that we tailor to meet all your unique needs including your timeline, lifestyle, and budget.

We would love to welcome you to our practice to show you how attentive care in a welcoming setting can change your attitude about your dental care. Please contact Mann Family Dental at (603) 413-2833 to arrange your first visit.

image of a file folder focusing on the financing tab manchester nhAt Mann Family Dental, we understand that dental treatment seems too costly for most people, which is why we offer a variety of payment options to help you pay for your dental care.

Insurance

We accept most dental insurance and will work with you to help you understand your benefits. We will file your dental claim on your behalf and help you estimate your co-payment.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a popular third-party financing program because it allows you to finance your care today, then pay off the balance in smaller monthly payments that fit your budget. In most cases, approval only takes moments, and as long as you pay the full balance in the agreed period (typically 6, 12, or 18 months), you will not be charged any interest.

Compassionate Finance

Compassionate Finance is another program that offers flexible financing so you can make manageable monthly payments on dental and healthcare procedures that might otherwise be out of your budget. The program offers minimal fees, affordable monthly payments, and high approval rates.

Other Methods

We also look for other ways to make the cost of your treatment easy to manage. Many treatments require more than one appointment, which means we can divide your total cost by the number of appointments needed. For example, a crown takes two appointments, so in this case, we can divide your cost into two equal payments.

We also accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

To learn more about payment options, contact our office at (603) 413-2833.

CEREC Same-Visit Dental Crowns, Veneers, Inlays, and Onlays

If you’ve ever needed a dental crown or restoration before, you most likely had to make several trips to your dentist’s office and wait weeks before receiving your finished product.

Traditionally, dental restorations are created off-site at dental labs, which means there’s a waiting period between when you get fitted and when you have your restoration.

At Mann Family Dental, however, we instead use CEREC dental technology to provide our patients with same-day inlays, onlays, veneers, and tooth crowns.

CEREC dentistry in Manchester, NH is different from standard dentistry because it allows you to have your dental work done instantly rather than having to wait for materials from a dental lab. CEREC, or “Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics,” relies on computer technology to create your dental restorations in-house right here at Mann Family Dental.

Our CEREC machine allows our Manchester dentist to create your permanent, durable dental restorations in only about two hours, which means you only need to make one trip to our dental office. With CEREC dentistry, there’s no need to schedule multiple dental appointments or take additional time off from work!

If your tooth needs a dental restoration such as a crown, inlay, or onlay, or if you’re interested in getting dental veneers, we can use CEREC dentistry in Manchester, NH to help you. When you’re ready to learn more, please contact our dental office.

Digital X-Rays

Dental x-rays are an integral part of preventive dentistry and a necessary aspect of your dental treatment. Obtaining regular dental x-rays allows our treatment team to catch cavities and oral health problems before they become severe, painful, and expensive to fix.

If you’re like many people, however, you may have reservations about the x-ray experience. While this is understandable, we’re here to assure you that modern digital dental x-rays are very safe.

When you visit us at Mann Family Dental, we rely on dental x-rays in Manchester to show us aspects of your smile that we can’t see with just the naked eye.

Because we use digital imaging with all of our patients—and because our treatment staff members are always surrounded by our x-ray equipment—it’s in our best interest to make sure our x-ray technology is extremely safe.

Dental x-rays involve a very low concentration of radiation, and dental imaging is some of the safest medical imaging you can receive. When we obtain your Manchester dental x-rays, our imaging machines expose you to less radiation than you typically encounter in the environment during an average day.

We care about your safety and the safety of our employees. We will never put your health at risk or needlessly expose you to radiation. When you visit us for dental imaging in Manchester, we’ll also have you wear a lead apron to minimize the effects.

Sedation Dentistry

Yes!

At Mann Family Dental, we want you to be as relaxed and at-ease as possible during your dental treatment. And if you struggle with severe dental anxiety, we understand that relaxing is easier said than done!

To help you feel more comfortable while you’re in our dental chair, we offer three different types of sedation dentistry in Manchester, NH:

  1. Nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas”
  2. Oral sedation in the form of medication
  3. IV sedation

Our dentist can prescribe one sedation individually or use a combination of multiple methods to help you feel your most relaxed. Sometimes, a sedation dentistry treatment that works for one person isn’t ideal for another, which is why we customize your treatment for your unique needs.

The goal of our Manchester, NH sedation dentistry is always to relieve your dental fears and make visits to our dental office less stressful. If your anxieties are minor or have been well-controlled without sedation dentistry in the past, we will probably recommend nitrous oxide for your dental procedures.

If you’re prone to more severe dental-induced stress, however, Dr. Mann may want to use oral sedation or IV sedation to reduce your chances of feeling any sort of anxiety.

Questions about our sedation dentistry techniques? Contact Mann Family Dental today to learn more!

You have no reason to worry - our practice philosophy is centered around patient comfort and care. We will go out of our way to make your visit relaxing and as comfortable as possible.

Our patients often comment that the fear and anticipation of the pain was way worse than the procedure itself.

Don't like shots?

If you don’t like shots, you’re in good hands; Dr. Mann is a master at dental injections, and many patients say it was the most comfortable they’ve ever experienced. Once your mouth is numb, you shouldn’t feel anything, but we’ll continue to check in with you to make sure you are comfortable.

We know that even with gentle, attentive care dentistry is a challenge for many people. For this reason, we provide several stress-reducing sedation options. Nitrous oxide is a gas that’s inhaled through a small nasal mask and will produce a dreamy, euphoric sensation that lasts only for the duration of your treatment.

Do you require more relaxation?

If you would like a deeper level of relaxation, Dr. Mann can prescribe anti-anxiety medication that you take before your appointment to keep you calm and comfortable. For highly anxious patients, we can offer IV sedation that will put you in a deep state of relaxation.

Please don’t let anxiety about your procedure prevent you from getting the care you need. Call us today to learn more about sedation options at our Manchester, NH dental office.
