Our primary goal remains the same; we aim to provide comprehensive dental care in Manchester, NH.

At Mann Family Dental, our dental office uses some of the most advanced dental technology. Please take a moment to learn more about them and call us if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with us.

Nitrous Oxide

Millions of people suffer from dental anxiety that prevents them from getting the treatment they need to maintain optimal oral health. At Mann Family Dental, we want to assure you that we understand and respect your concerns. For this reason, we offer comforting nitrous oxide sedation.

Nitrous oxide is a gas that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small nasal mask. You’ll immediately feel a warm, relaxed, and slightly euphoric sensation that allows you to drift away from the activity around you.

Our busy patients appreciate that the effects of nitrous oxide quickly dissipate after we stop administering the gas and leave no lingering side effects. With nitrous oxide, you can get the treatment you need, and it’s so mild that it is even safe for children who need some help to relax.

3D Cone Beam Scanner

At our office in Manchester, we have a Sirona ORTHOPOS XG 3D Scanner. The scanner allows us to evaluate the quality and quantity of bone for planning the precise and safe location to place the dental implants. Using this technology we often discovered hidden abnormalities like cysts, cancers and septum deviations that have never been diagnosed. The 3D scanner improves the predictability and safety of placing dental implants and utilizing 3D technology is now considered the standard of care in implant dentistry.

CEREC Same-Visit Restorations

CEREC Same-Visit Restoration Machine

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Simply put, this means that instead of having an outside lab prepare your crown, at Mann Family Dental, we design and fabricate state-of-the-art dental restorations like crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays right here in our office while you wait. No more aggravation with temporaries while the lab makes your crown. We create your beautiful ceramic restoration during a single appointment, and you'll leave our office with a beautiful, healthy smile.

Digital Impressions

Hate messy impressions? Most people do! At Mann Family Dental, however, we offer state-of-the-art digital impressions. This cutting-edge 3D technology enables us to obtain impressions of your teeth that provide us with all the structural data we need to create restorations like crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays.

Digital impressions are not only more comfortable for you, but they also help us achieve the most accurate fit for dental restorations. And since we don’t have to wait for impression material to set, the process is faster, meaning less time in the dental chair for you!

Digital Records

Digital patient records are more efficient than paperwork because we can access them quickly as needed for reference when diagnosing dental conditions. Since we store your records on our secure in-house network, we can easily share them with specialists or your insurance company with HIPAA compliant communication.

Digital X-Rays

Digital dental x-rays

Many people today have understandable concerns about the level of radiation exposure when we take x-rays. At Mann Family Dental, we invested in state-of-the-art digital x-ray technology that reduces your exposure by as much as 80 percent compared to traditional film x-rays.

Digital x-rays are more comfortable for you because instead of bulky x-ray film that you have to clench between your teeth, digital x-rays use flat digital sensors that fit comfortably in your mouth, and their rounded edges won't poke into delicate tissue.

We also use digital x-rays as an educational tool. Moments after we take the x-ray it will appear on your chairside monitor. Dr. Mann can manipulate the image by adjusting contrast, zooming in on specific areas, and enhancing the image to show you exactly what the problem is and why you need treatment. Your digital images are stored with all your other records on our secure in-house network, so they are readily available for monitoring your oral health or to send to specialists and insurance companies.

Panoramic X-Rays

In some cases like planning orthodontic treatment or implant placement, it’s essential to have a single panoramic x-ray that includes your entire mouth in one image. Just like a  panoramic photo you take on your phone, this image gives Dr. Mann a full view of your teeth, upper and lower jaws, and all supporting structures.

Panoramic x-rays are extra-oral, which means they’re taken outside of the mouth, making them perfect for young children and adults with a strong gag reflex.

Electric Handpieces

Electric Handpieces at Mann Family Dental

Dental anxiety is different for everyone, but even the most confident patients dislike the unsettling sound that some dental equipment makes. At Mann Family Dental, we want to eliminate anything that gets in the way of your comfort, so we use electric handpieces that are quieter and produce significantly less vibration than air-driven tools.

Intraoral Camera

Digital DOC intraoral camera

We want you to be involved and educated about your treatment so that you understand what it takes to achieve excellent oral health, and this includes sharing information with you. An intraoral camera is a high-tech instrument that lets you view highly detailed images of your teeth in real time.

Since the camera is about the size of a pen, it fits comfortably in your mouth. Dr. Mann directs it over your teeth, and the detailed images appear instantly on your chairside monitor allowing you to play an active role in your treatment decisions. The images we gather are stored in your patient records so we can refer to them quickly.
