Dr. Mann offers nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation, which he’s licensed to give himself in New Hampshire, so a great deal of care can happen in one calm visit, and for full-mouth implant surgery an anesthesia team joins him in our office so he can focus entirely on your surgery. His message to nervous patients is simple: “it’s okay, it’s safe.”

With CEREC, Dr. Mann designs your crowns and veneers on the screen and our team mills them in the office while you relax with a coffee and a blanket, so a single crown is finished before the numbness wears off and a whole new smile can come together in one long day. He’s a CDOCS mentor and visiting faculty member, helping other dentists learn this same work.
A first visit with time to talk
Ask how long your first visit will be, because feeling heard takes time: our new-patient visit runs a full 90 minutes, and Dr. Mann spends the first 10 to 15 minutes just getting to know you, your worries and what you want for your smile. “You cannot do that in 30 minutes,” he says. Your visit includes a 3D scan, full x-rays and a digital scan of your teeth, so if implants or a bigger plan are on your mind, you leave knowing exactly where things stand.
Discovering the work he loves
Dr. Mann knows how much it means to feel cared for at the dentist, because he didn’t have dental care growing up and paid his own way through dental school. He came to dentistry by way of medicine — through high school and college he worked in hospitals and nursing homes, planning on emergency medicine, and grew fond of the people he cared for and “the ability to connect to them.”
When his older brother, a dentist, told him to “come to Houston,” he carried that same care for people into the University of Texas Dental Branch, and after all his years of caring for patients, it still shapes every visit at our Manchester dental office. Looking back, he calls it “a very good decision for me, because I love so much about it.”

The waiting room sets the tone for the whole visit, so Dr. Mann designed ours to help you feel “in a different place” the moment you arrive: a 350-gallon saltwater reef aquarium he looks after himself, an espresso station for a latte while you settle in, and a renovated reception area where our team greets you by name. Once you’re in the chair, blankets, hand warmers and Netflix with headphones help the time pass comfortably, and parking on site makes getting to us the easy part of your day.
